How much can you make?
There are three commission levels Wealthy Affiliate, GOLD membership, PLATINUM membership and YEARLY membership. Here is the breakdown:
GOLD ($47) = $22.50/month recurring commissions
PLATINUM ($97) = $46.50/month recurring commissions
YEARLY ($597) = $275/year recurring commissions
That is right, $275 commissions! And these recur, so if the person sticks around for the next year, you get another $275 commission (a total of $550 for ONE sale!).
$22.50 per month may seem like a smaller commission, but I think when I put things into perspective here, you will really see how profitable this affiliate program can be for you.
The average membership is close to 6 months, so if you refer someone to a GOLD membership, you can expect $135 in commissions!
One sale, $135 commissions!
As for the PLATINUM, the average membership is also 6 months, so $46.50 x 6 = $279.00.
So, let's revisit this chart.

When do you get paid as an affiliate?
As an WA external affiliate, you get paid on the 1st every month directly to your Paypal account, making 12 payment periods per year. Since 2005 we have not had a late payment or we have not missed a payment. After you make three referrals, you will be paid.
We can also offer check payments if you reach a threshold of $100, but there is a processing fee. We do prefer to pay via Paypal because it is instant and it goes into your account right away.

Please note that you will not be paid for signing up under yourself. We have extensive tracking that looks into all sales to determine if an affiliate is trying to cheat the system. Your sales must be unique.
